A chilly Parkrun morning but lucky (in Solihull at least) not to have rain. Nick, Ed and I ran Solihull Brueton again, whilst visiting family.
One of us became an 'unknown' runner as he forgot his barcode. So I have put him at the bottom of the table. I'll take that as meaning
that I top my family on percentages this week; even if we are at the bottom of the table 😁

Paul and Cathy visited their usual Longrun. The photos show them running through some very wet footpaths. Pretty fast times and
percentages given the conditions.

Mike was in Kent for his 60th Parkrun (not 60th birthday). Bravely, he was a volunteer Pacer on a course he was running for the first time. He was
tasked to finish at 24 minutes. He tells me that the Pegwell Bay course was a lovely flat coastal route and turned out to be a little short.
Hence finishing a little soon.

Over at Street, John and Anne topped our table this week, with Grahame and Anne trying Street for the first time. Richard, Steve and James (heading towards his century)
ran also. The section between fields is suffering a little with recent rain. Message from Street last Friday:

"Event Director Tim and CT member Jon were out late last night distribution chippings over the soggy entrance to field 2. It's a temporary solution, very kindly provided by Matthew Costanza, so we are ON tomorrow!

We will work our arses off to keep parkrun going every week through winter, so please keep on coming!

And if you think you may be able to help with a more permanent solution or have a suggestion, please speak to one of the hi-viz heroes and pass it on, all advice/help welcome!"

Two Saturday Parkruns left before Christmas. Remember that their are some special Parkruns on Christmas Day and New Year's Day, see the compendium:

Longrun and Street's Christmas food collection looked to be successful.
