We were greeted to a rather soggy autumnal morning at the weekend but that did not stop 10 of us getting out of bed to go running in the rain, numbers were down across all our local parkruns*. it was the 14th anniversary of inaugural parkrun at Bushy park or run number 755! At the other end of the spectrum it was run number 23 at Street. I offered to pace Wendy around, so she could have a crack at a PB. We gave it a good shot falling only a few seconds short, although Wendy did come first in her category. Dennis cane in only 6 seconds behind us and recorded the only PB of the week. Well done Dennis and Wendy and to James Andrews and Martin Hopper who both were volunteering this week.
Three of our parkrun centurions were at Montacute this week Amanda, Liz and Sue and a we have a lovely photo below. Cathy and Paul went to Killerton for the first time and Dave and Hazel were at Taunton.
I was thinking of a little trip out to Henstridge Airfield parkrun in the coming weeks so if anyone wants to join me let me know!
*95 runner were at Street, 206 @ Montacute and 270 @ Taunton
