Wow! What a great Parkrun turnout this week. 17 of us, 5 different venues.

At Montacute, it was Steve's 90th run and joined by regulars Sue, Dennis, Amanda B and returners Dave G and Alexander.

A couple of PB's this week. Paul P keeps improving at Longrun. This week he shaved 8 seconds off his previous best, and James similar at Street, with another 5 seconds off his 5th Street run.

Joan topped our table on her 20th run, first time at Street. Charlotte ran Swindon for the 8th time.

Jemma was spotted at Longrun (see photo below). Not included in previous reports as she hasn't admitted to being a Langport Runner in her Parkrun details. (Jemma, please log in to your Parkrun profile and amend if you want to be included in future reports). This was Jemma's 29th Parkrun.

The Pratts, plus Sam's plus one, touristed to Tring Parkrun in Buckinghamshire. A very pretty cross country run which was seriously challenging. A very steep first kilometre on grass, then a flattish section on a ridge through woods, followed by an undulating grassy final section and a last little incline to the finish line.  When collating these results, I was amazed to be at the opposite end of the table from my usual placing; I'll leave the more observant of you to work out why.

Note that next Saturday is International Parkrun day, celebrating 14 years of Parkrunning around the world!
