CONGRATULATIONS TO KEVIN HEYWOOD ON WINNING THE RACE IN AN EXCELENT TIME OF 31:28
Once again the organisers of the Battle of Sedgemoor 10k Race would like to thank all our sponsors and particularly the Langport Arms for their support. Big thanks to all the marshals and general helpers for the event. Special thanks go to Doug “the Commentator” Jones for his help over the years and to Grahame Turner, Caron Turner and Sue Jones without who I would not get any of this done or the results out.
I would like to apologise to all runners who were unable to run today because the race was full. This will be resolved next year, the committee will look at increasing the limit but if that is not possible then there will be an up to date counter of places available on the web site which will be updated daily until the day before the event. Also all runners who can’t make the event will be offered refunds if their place can be filled on the day, thus I hope encouraging those that can’t turn up to contact me before race day to let me know.
I have put the provisional results below, please let me know of any errors or omissions by calling 01458 251486 or e-mail peter.jones4@homecall.co.uk if the runner who lost his number could let me have his name then I can correct the results.
